For the 3rd consecutive year, the Bank has cooperated with the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre (“HKRep”)* to title-sponsor the drama, Le Père. Produced and played by the HKRep, the Bank would like to arouse the public awareness for dementia through the drama. The exclusive performance of the Bank was held on 4th May (Saturday), with customers of the Bank filling up the theatre to enjoy the show. On the same day, the Bank co-organized a seminar about dementia with Christian Family Service Centre Mind Delight Memory and Cognitive Training Centre. Social worker shared with caregivers the emotions theyusually have in the course oftaking care of family member with dementia. Another guest, who is also a caregiver, talked about how she walked out of the gloom of life. Those caregivers invited to the seminar were also given tickets to enjoy the drama performance, providing them a period of relaxation time, as well as warmth and encouragement to face the challenges in life.

Le Pèreis the work of one of France’s most popular young playwrights, Florian Zeller. This popular drama is a rerun performance in Hong Kong.
