To celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with the public and to promote sports in Hong Kong, the Bank has supported 2016 Sha Tin Dragon Boat Race organized by Shatin Sports Association by being a title sponsor of "Mixed Invitation Dragon Boat Race (CMB Wing Lung Bank Cup)". The race was held at Shatin Shing Mun River on 9th June 2016. The Bank’s Dragon Boat Team has sent over 20 members to join the "CMB Wing Lung Bank Cup" sponsored by the Bank, and another race of "China Cup", in which the team has shown its precious team spirit. Large crowds of the public have also joined the race as spectator to cheer up the participating teams.

*Shatin Sports Association was established in 1982 and has become an important and influential local sports organization in Shatin, which aims to promote sports in the community.
