Sponsored Colleagues Joining Oxfam Trailwalker 2022
“Oxfam Trailwalker” * is one of the largest fundraising sports events that organized by Oxfam in Hong Kong. The event, which was suspended for three years due to the epidemic, finally resumed in 2022 and the race was held from 24th February to 26th February, 2023 (Friday to Sunday). The Bank once again sponsored colleagues with a team of four members to join the event. They successfully climbed 23 mountains, traversed 100km and finished the race in 31 hours 46 minutes! The team won the eighth place in the “Finance” category, which was an encouraging result!
*Oxfam Trailwalker is one of the largest fundraising sporting events in Hong Kong. Since 1986, more than 100,000 participants have raised over HK$600 million to support Oxfam’s various poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Africa and Asia, including Hong Kong and mainland China.
