Organized Staff Volunteer Activity – Caring amidst the Dragon Boat Festival
A team of 20 volunteers from the Bank took up the role of “Caring Ambassador for the Elderly” during the Dragon Boat Festival. Joining hands with the Elderly Center of Hong Kong Young Women Christian’s Association (YWCA)*, the volunteers visited the elderly who lives alone in Sham Shui Po and gave out our thoughtful giveaways including the festive food packs and ornaments, sending our love and care to them.
*YWCA was established in 1920. Its Integrated Home Care Services aims at providing care and support to the target service users, including the elderly, people with disabilities and needy families according to their individual needs so that they can continue to live in the community.
