Supported Dress Casual Day 2020 of the Community Chest
The Bank is committed to servicing the community and has participated in the “Dress Causal Day” *organized by the Hong Kong Community Chest for consecutive years since 2011. The Bank showed enthusiasm and supported to this activity even facing lots of challenges in year 2020.
The “Dress Causal Day 2020" was held on 29th October 2020 (Thursday), with " We We Wear Wear " as the theme.
A total of 448 colleagues from 39 departments/ branches of the Bank joined this meaningful fund-raising event and donated over HKD60,000.
The donations raised will be donated to 163 social welfare institutions funded by the Hong Kong Community Chest to assist 2.5 million people in need in Hong Kong.
*Dress Casual Day has developed to become a flagship fundraising event of the Community Chest since its inception in 1993. Donors can go to work / school in their favourite casual wear in support of a meaningful cause.
