Donations to Support Victims of Fatal Traffic Accident in Tai Po Road
A fatal traffic accident took place in Tai Po Road in February 2018, causing a number of death and injuries. After the accident, monetary and blood donations were collected from different sectors and the public, to show care to the affected parties. In response to the appeal of The Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association to its members, the Bank has collected over HK$36,000 donations from 260 staff of different branches / departments, to offer support to the victims and their families. The donations were sent to The Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association in the form of a cheque, which was then passed to the victims and their families through the Social Welfare Department.
