Sponsored Colleagues to Join the 21st “Green Power Hike” of Green Power
In 2014, the Bank sponsored 2 teams to join the “Green Power Hike”* organized by Green Power, raising fund for the organization’s environmental education programmes. One of our teams won the 3rd runner-up in Bank Cup, demonstrating the team spirits among our staff. Through this activity, Green Power aims to encourage Hong Kong citizens to join hiking activities, so that they can know more about the nature and the natural resources in Hong Kong.
*Green Power Hike is one of the largest charity hiking activities on Hong Kong Island. It is also the annual fund raising event of Green Power. Donations raised from the event have been used as the main source of Green Power to promote environmental education.
