As a team, the Bank has joined the 2017 New Territories Walk for Millions organized by The Community Chest by taking off from Ma On Shan Promenade on 26th February (Sunday). The Bank has participated in the event for 16 consecutive years. A total of 450 participants (including 435 colleagues and 15 members of their families) have shown their support on the event day despite the chilling weather. Together with the matching funds from CMB Wing Lung Foundation Limited, the Bank has raised a total of HK$428,960 for 24 member social welfare agencies providing “Family and Child Welfare Services” under The Community Chest, and has attained the Winner of Top Fund-raiser Award in the New Territories Walk!

*The Walks for Millions was first held in 1971. Since its debut, more than 160 walks have been organized with over 3 million participants and HK$550 million was raised for The Community Chest.
