As a team, the Bank has joined The Community Chest 50th Anniversary Walk for Millions organized by The Community Chest by making our way through the newly established Central - Wan Chai Bypass on 6th January 2019 (Sunday). It is the Bank’s 17th consecutive year in joining the activity in support to the community. This year, a total of 376 participants (including 351 colleagues and 25 members of their families) have shown their support, together with the matching funds from CMB Wing Lung Foundation Limited, the Bank has raised a total of HKD267,120 for 24 member social welfare agencies providing “Family and Child Welfare Services” under The Community Chest.

*To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Community Chest, the “Hong Kong and Kowloon” and “New Territories” Walk for Millions 2018/19 are being replaced by “The Community Chest 50th Anniversary Walk for Millions”, which was held at the new infrastructure, Central – Wan Chai Bypass. Over 20,000 walkers enrolled and around HKD16 million was raised through this event.
