Organized Staff Volunteer Activity – Fun Farming
On 25th October 2015 (Sunday), the Bank organized a volunteer activity with the Hong Kong Young Women Christian’s Association (HKYWCA), taking about 20 children to Y Farm* in Fanling to enjoy a day of green activities. CMB Wing Lung volunteers and children took carrots from the farm, made bread and plant pots with eggshell, and tasted a delicious meal in the farm. All participated thoroughly enjoyed a happy day.
*HKYWCA was established in 1920. Its Y Farm in Fanling is a self-financed service programme which aims at promoting the sense of worthiness among the elderly, harmony between the elderly and the youth, as well as the leading of a green life.
