Sponsored Corporate Relay of UNICEF Charity Run 2017
The Bank always spares no effort in supporting charity events. After participating in the Corporate Relay of UNICEF Charity Run 2016, which was postponed to March 2017 due to bad weather, the Bank has once again supported the same event in November 2017.
The Bank has sponsored the UNICEF Charity Run* since 2012 and has joined the Corporate Relay since 2015. In 2017, the Bank has sponsored the event by donating HK$68,800 through CMB Wing Lung Foundation Limited as a support to UNICEF to prevent the mother-to-child transmission of HIV. A team of 5 colleagues have also represented the Bank to join the Corporate Relay which was held on 26th November (Sunday) in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay.
*UNICEF Charity Run is organized by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF HK) and supported by the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association (HKAAA). It is the second largest long-distance running event in Hong Kong, which aims to support the work of UNICEF to prevent the mother-to-child transmission of HIV in over 150 developing countries around the world.
