Mid-Autumn Festival has always been a time for family and friends getting together to enjoy moments of reunion. The Bank would like to take this opportunity to share happiness and joy with hundreds of thousands of needy in our community, such that everyone’s Mid-Autumn Festival would be a meaningful and unforgettable one. It was the Bank’s 3rd consecutive year, since 2016, to support Mooncakes for Charity of The Community Chest*. In 2018, the Bank raised a total of HK$40,872 by ordering over 840 boxes of mooncakes, in which the donations was allocated to the 162 member social welfare agencies supported by The Community Chest.

*The Community Chest has joined hands with Wing Wah Cake Shop in launching Mooncakes for Charity since 1989, called on the purchase of mooncake vouchers while raising funds at the same time, to share holiday festive and care with the underprivileged.
