Organized Staff Volunteer Activity – Touring around Hong Kong with Underprivileged Students
In September 2014, the Bank organized a volunteer activity for underprivileged students from Taoist Ching Chung Primary School* in Tuen Mun. Through visiting Hong Kong’s famous landmarks, participating in a series of outdoor activities and a talk themed Yellow River with the volunteers, students learnt about the National Day and our mother country. They also enjoyed the “Yellow River Concerto, A National Day Celebration Concert”, organized by the Hong Kong Philharmonic and sponsored by the Bank, which put the joyful day to an end.
*Located in Tuen Mun, the Taoist Ching Chung Primary School was founded in 1985. With the aim to promote education and to nurture the youngsters, the School provides quality education to eligible students in the district.
