Organized Staff Volunteer Activity – Tree Planting Activity to Celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the Bank
The Bank organized a tree planting activity on 1st May (Labour Day). 50 staff from different departments and their family members teamed up as Wing Lung Volunteer Team to go for tree planting at Wai Tsai West Campsite in Sai Kung Country Park under the lead of Environmental Association*. Apart from a Staff Volunteer Activity, the event was also a celebration of the Bank’s 85th anniversary. With their joint effort, Wing Lung Volunteer Team planted 85 saplings that day as a wish for the thriving future of the Bank, which has been rooted in and progressed with Hong Kong. Some of the staff also brought their children together to join the activity and to pass the environmental protection awareness to the next generation.
