Sponsored Lau Chor Tak Institute of Global Economics and Finance
The Bank has been committed to supporting the education field as well as to living up to the responsibility as a good corporate citizen over the years. This principle of “WHERE-EVER YOU TAKE; WHERE-EVER YOU GIVE” shares the same vision with Lau Chor Tak Institute of Global Economics and Finance (IGEF)* of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Based on this shared vision, the Bank was happy to sponsor the IGEF and became Friends of IGEF again in 2018, so as to support different activities and research works organized by IGEF, as a contribution to research of economic policies, and to nurture more talents in the financial sector to serve the community.
*The Lau Chor Tak Institute of Global Economics and Finance (IGEF) is a self-financed, independent, non-profit research institute of CUHK. It was established in January 2010 by Professor Liu Pak Wai and Professor Lawrence J. Lau.
