Supported The Community Chest’s Green Low Carbon Day
113 staff of the Bank joined Green Low Carbon Day (organized by The Community Chest*) in 2023, in an effort to support environmental protection initiative. A total of HK$14,567 was raised, in return, each participating staff was given one “Green Low Carbon Day Commemorative Ticket” for unlimited rides on the MTR from 18th June to 19th June 2023. The activity not only encouraged the Public to act green and live green, but also raised fund for the “Green Related Projects” supported by The Community Chest.
*The Community Chest of Hong Kong was established in 1968. Each year, the Chest organizes fund-raising events to benefit over 150 member social welfare agencies that reach out to more than two million beneficiaries in Hong Kong.
