Joined Earth Hour 2014 of World Wide Fund
The Bank has been supporting Earth Hour organized by World Wide Fund for the 7th consecutive years. On the day of this annual global environmental movement, the Bank turned off the unnecessary electricity as well as spot lights and neon signs during the specified period, encouraging staff and the public to conserve energy and act out low-carbon living.
*Earth Hour is a global event for energy conservation. It advocates families and corporations to turn off unnecessary lights and electrical appliances for 1 hour at 8:30p.m. on the last Saturday in March every year.
