Sponsored Lai See Reuse & Recycle Programme 2014 of Greeners Action
Our Bank sponsored the Lai See Packet Reuse & Recycle Programme organized by Greeners Action* for the 3rd consecutive years and has become a Diamond Packet Sponsor of the Programme in 2014. During the Chinese Lunar New Year, Laisees’ Collection Boxes were placed in over 30 branches to collect used lai see packets from staff and customers, so as to contribute for the society’s sustainable development.
*Established in 1993, Greeners Action aim at promoting green message and to follow closely about environmental protection issues in the community. Greeners Action has been organizing the Lai See Reuse & Recycle Programme since 2009, which encourages the public to avoid the overuse of new lai see packets and to promote the idea of reuse and recycle.
