  • Retail purchase, Interest-Free Instalment and autopay transactions are eligible for cash rebate.
  • Cash rebate will be credited to your credit card account for offsetting any new spending.

Terms and Conditions of Cash Rebate Program:
  1. The Cash Rebate Program (“Program”) is only applicable to CMB Wing Lung Credit Card / Affinity Card / Luxe Visa Infinite / Corporate Card / RMB Credit Card (“Card”) cardholder (“Cardholder”), but is not applicable to UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card cardholder.
  2. Cardholder can award HKD1 cash rebate on every spending of HKD200 with the Card (except RMB Credit Card). Cardholder can award RMB1 cash rebate on every spending of RMB200 with RMB Credit Card.
  3. Only retail purchase, autopay and octopus auto reload amount are eligible for the Program.
  4. The following transactions are not eligible for the Program: spending amount less than HKD200 (RMB200 for RMB Credit Card), cash advances, credit to cash, balance transfer, flexible instalment, travel instalment, interest free tuition loan, online bill payment, gambling chips, securities transaction, foreign exchange, travellers' cheque, finance charges, handling fees, annual fee payment, account service fees, late payment charges, reversal transaction, personalized octopus application fee, cancellation or reimbursement of transaction and any unauthorized transactions.
  5. The following transactions which are conducting in Mainland China by using RMB Credit Card are not eligible for the Program: real estate sales, vehicle, fuel, wholesale, supermarket spending, hospital fee, academic fee, donations to charitable or social service organization, government and government-related services or political organization fee, parking lots and garages, transportation, utilities fee, insurance, new agents and newsstands.
  6. CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited (“the Bank”) reserves the right to determine the eligibility and validity of the transactions, and such transactions are subject to change by the Bank from time to time at its sole discretion.
  7. The respective cash rebate will be deducted from the Card account without prior notice if there have any cancelled or refunded transactions of the Card. The deduction will be shown on the monthly statement of the Card.
  8. Cash rebate will be calculated in accordance with the total amount of eligible transactions on each statement date. Any transaction amount or remaining transaction amount which is less than HKD200 (RMB200 for RMB Credit Card) is not eligible for any cash rebate and such transaction amount will not be carried forward to the next statement date for the calculation of cash rebate entitlement.
  9. Cash rebate will be credited to the Card account on the next statement date directly, or any other date the Bank may determine from time to time. The credited amount will be shown on the next monthly statement of the Card.
  10. Cash rebate can only be used for deduction of new spending and is not transferable and cannot be redeemed into cash.
  11. The Card account of the Cardholder must be valid and in good standing for the entitlement of the cash rebate.
  12. Fraud and abuse on the eligible transaction of the Card will result in forfeiture of Cardholder's cash rebate as well as cancellation of the Card. The Bank further reserves the right to take legal actions in such instances.
  13. The Bank reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions, change or terminate the Program at its sole discretion without prior notice. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  14. If there is any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
